Ashes to Ashes

I'm not trying to offend anyone with this, I'm not really trying to attack anyone's belief system, please enjoy the art for what it is instead of misinterpreting my meanings with this.

From ashes to ashes and dust to dust
some fear to walk down the road we must
crushed as a child fear leading to mistrust
feeling flushed sixty years seeming rushed
in disgust like a punishment so unjust
like we crumble to rust soon as we break the crust
plus the manipulation of man turnin his hand
stands as the reason non believers are dammed
Like they're the ones receiving demands
deceiving a man into achieving their plans
concealing the clans from which the treason began
But reason be damned.
I believe in God but don't believe in the church
cause man on his own planted seeds of a curse
In the Garden of Eden now the trees are dispersed
and a snake in the corner lies concealing a smirk
And hidden within the chapel? Another rotting apple
God's law? Or excuse to put us in chains and shackles?
but I grapple with thoughts that maybe pagans
are the only ones not plagued by the ways of Satan
So I turn to the north and demand answers of Pan
under the light of Gemini and Cancer I stand
And shout at Zues to call for a truce!
with Jesus and Allah and drop the excuse
as Medusa's snakes spread apple seeds around
and Leviathan follows and waters the ground
And the light of Lucifer keeps us all bound
sound asleep yet wide awake souls never found....

He glances around as the silence enhances the sound
within his ears as his blood races dances and pounds
Unstable or able to breathe, grips the table and pleas
in choking sobs but even this disabled he seethes
And sees all the blood shed on the walls of home
A sanguine scene stained redder than halls in Rome

He walks through his door with a smile on his face
Unaware of the still silent noise defiling his place
in haste racin to taste the sweet fruits of abiding love
as the branches of tragedy seek root in the sky above
A desperate cry overtakes the winds desolate sigh
He holds his son up close in a nestle and cries

Path of Knowledge

If love could heal the world today
If all the pain could fade away
and children's smiles remained all day
and all the world would join in play
If all the wars could just parlay
and we could all take time to pray
Would someone really then be blessed?
Could it help those feeling stressed?
And can it lead us to success?
Perhaps then make us not depressed?
Is tomorrow real or just a name
for distanced passed as time proclaimed?
For man ashamed with hands restrained
may search for ways to banish pain
for thus the apple with the snake
gave us the knowledge to debate
But also led us to the hate
but man is stubborn that's our fate
The path of knowledge path of life
Though one can bring us wrath and strife
decision made we bear the torch
And hold the flame which cannot scorch
And Satan banned from lands of man
Takes the souls of those now damned

Horizon

In as much as the world remains
an ignorant child both lost and insane
as vainly man reaches for the reins
in an attempt to gain the reign
meaning. Dominance torture and pain
be it our kin or ourselves restrained
as childrens eyes search for wisdom in vain
we in society never help but complain
then try to point our fingers and blame
The Industry, Society, The Government, Iraq
The Illuminati, The Masons, Aliens, Nasdaq
The Immigrants, The stock market and trade
Obama, Clinton, Bush, All making us slaves!
Our history, all the Government conspiracies
Area 151 and all the unidentified mysteries!
Atlantis, The Pyramids, The Sphinx, Stonehedge
A flat world turned round proving there was no edge
Hence the name man, meaning whence insane plans
dilute our minds by us accepting the name brands
I for one will not stand like Christopher Reeves!
Awaiting 2012,the end or a change in the breeze!
Please believe, I talk only to God so I can receive
divine blessings to continue writing with ease!

Shakespeare, Dickinson, Dickins, Twain, all their time
Has made it better for us, well thus it is so we say
I think this as I stare at the horizon under sun rays.
